Tensile Strength of Rebar Tie Wire

Depending on the type of product you choose, the tensile strength can vary widely. Our standard product lines are all made from 10-06 or 10-08 steel, which has a metallurgical content roughly halfway between stiff steel like coat hangers and ultra-soft steel like the small springs inside buttons. The carbon content of steel can drastically change the performance of the metal and how it handles being bent and shaped.
